Ningbo Aug. 16th--Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang Huaying New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Zhongke B Plus New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. jointly held an expert demonstration video conference on "R&D and application of magnetic materials and processes for high-speed motors". Zhuo Chen, former secretary-general of the Electrical Steel Branch of the Chinese Society of Metals, and Fuxiang Ji, a silicon steel expert, were specially invited to attend the meeting as demonstration experts. Weilong Lv, Executive Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Huaying New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Jun-Qiang Wang, the main project leader, Yan Zhang, Juntao Huo, Shuheng Qiu, Silu Chen and other scientific and technological backbones of NIMTE, and Lishan Huo, the general manager of Ningbo Zhongke B Plus New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., held exchanges and discussions at the meeting.
The application of robot surface grinding and polishing for large workpieces requires that the rotating motor used for its electric spindle has a high-speed output capability under high external load. Therefore, it is urgent to develop new soft magnetic materials for robot specific motors based on the support of key research and development programs in Zhejiang Province, such as amorphous nanocrystalline strip, high-performance ultra-thin electrical steel and other core materials. The project is planned to be led by Zhejiang Huaying New Materials Co., Ltd. to jointly develop high saturation, low loss amorphous/nanocrystalline soft magnetic, low loss electrical steel and other high-performance magnetic materials and process technologies with NIMTE, and Ningbo Zhongke B Plus New Materials Co., Ltd., so as to realize the national industrialization supporting application of special motors for robots. The meeting mainly discussed the task decomposition of the project to be applied, the feasibility of the technical scheme and the key technical problems to be solved from the industrial background and needs. The meeting also reached an agreement on technical indicators, division of labor among members and other issues. After discussion, the expert argumentation opinion was formed, and it was believed that the three units had the qualification and ability to complete the project, and the technical route of the project was feasible.
