Beijing July. 7th morning-- Yangde Li, chairman of Dongguan EONTEC. Co., Ltd., was employed by Non-crystalline Functional Materials Group as a visiting professor at the Bosi Hall. Professor Jun-Qiang Wang, the Principal Investigator, warmly welcomed and awarded Professor Yangde Li the appointment letter of visiting researcher.
After the appointment ceremony, Professor Yangde Li made an academic report on "Progress in Industrialization Technology and Technology Transformation of Bulk Metallic Glasses", shared several cases of the current industrial application of BMG, and demonstrated his group's industrialized products, including mobile phone shells, hinges, watches, etc. Meanwhile, he stressed the importance of technology transformation and hoped that universities and companies would jointly establish a metastable material patent information platform based on new components, new technologies, new equipment and new applications, and cooperate in developing potential application demand directions to promote the industrialization of Metallic Glasses. The participants extensively discussed the difficulties in the industrial application of metallic glasses and how to break through the engineering process problems encountered.
