Amorphous soft magnetic alloy material is a new type of material that came out in the 1970s, and has many excellent characteristics. Amorphous alloys have attracted great attention due to their low core loss, high resistivity, good frequency characteristics, high magnetic induction strength, strong corrosion resistance, catalysis and other characteristics. Therefore, amorphous alloys are known as new green energy-saving materials in the 21st century.
Last year, Jun-Qiang Wang, a professor from NIMTE, took two children to make sodium hypochlorite disinfectant in salt solution by using amorphous alloy strips as cathode materials. This experiment makes us know that amorphous alloys have catalytic properties. In this demonstration experiment, Prof. Wang explained the application of amorphous alloys in wireless charging and magnetic shielding.
